In early August 2025, South Korea stood at the peak of chaos. Seo Ji-hyun's revelation revealed the conspiracy of Choi Young-cheol and his secret forces to the world, but they launched their final counterattack. Society was on the verge of collapse, with fake news, manipulation of public opinion, and even violence being used. Prosecutor Han Do-jun continued to pursue Choi Young-cheol, risking his life while holding the evidence that would put an end to his plan to sell the country. Kang Tae-min won the trial and took the lead in the presidential race, but Choi Young-cheol's threat still remained. Seo Ji-hyun risked everything to protect the truth. But their fight was now approaching the final battle.

"Han Do-jun and Yoon So-young rush into the heart of Choi Young-cheol.."

Han Do-jun sneaked into an officetel in Gangnam with Yoon So-young. It was Choi Young-cheol's secret hideout, which was confirmed as a clue to Kim Min-seok. After passing through a dark hallway, they stood in front of Choi Young-cheol's office door. Han Do-jun whispered as he held the pistol in his hand.
“Soyoung, if you step away from here, everything will be over. Are you ready?”
Soyoung Yoon nodded resolutely.
“Senior, let’s go together until the end. We have to catch Choi Young-cheol.”

When I broke down the door and entered, I saw Youngcheol Choi sitting alone at his desk. He was in his mid-60s, had sharp eyes, and smiled at Han Do-jun.
“Prosecutor Han Do-jun, I finally met you. I didn’t know you were this persistent.”
Han Han-jun gritted his teeth and asked.
“Choi Young-cheol, why did you try to sell out this country? Where is the oath from 1987?”
Choi Young-cheol laughed lowly.
“An oath? It was a dream of naive young people. This country is rotten, Han Do-jun. I am trying to create a new order. I will join hands with foreign capital to make this country stronger.”
Han Han-jun shouted, trembling with anger.
“Strong? Betraying the people and selling the country is strength? You’re just a power-hungry monster!”
Choi Young-cheol answered coldly.
“Han Do-jun, idealists like you don’t live long. That’s why your father died.”
Han Do-jun’s eyes wavered. He gritted his teeth as he recalled his father's mysterious death.
“Father… did you kill him?”
Choi Young-cheol just smiled. At that moment, footsteps were heard in the hallway. Choi Young-cheol's men were approaching. Soyoung Yoon shouted.
“Senior! Get the evidence quickly!”
Han Do-jun snatched the secret contract from Choi Young-cheol's desk. Choi Young-cheol spoke leisurely.
“Go on, Han Do-jun. But you will never win. This country is already in my hands.”
Han Do-jun gritted his teeth and jumped out the window with Yoon So-young. They ran through the alleys, eluding Choi Young-cheol's men. Han Han-jun muttered as he held the contract in his hand.
“Choi Young-cheol… If the country is as rotten as you said, I will fix it.”

"In Choi Young-cheol's cold ridicule, Han Do-jun's anger burns.."

Busan, Daegu, Gwangju. Kang Tae-min traveled around the country organizing civil movements. With Seo Ji-hyun's revelations and trial victory, his approval rating rose explosively. He returned to Seoul and held a large-scale national rally in Yeouido Park. With hundreds of thousands of citizens gathered, Kang Tae-min took the microphone.
“Fellow citizens! Choi Young-cheol and his forces tried to sell out this country! But we did not give in! Now it is time to create a new Republic of Korea with the power of the people!”
The crowd chanted his name. However, Kang Tae-min recalled his past mistakes behind the scenes. Ten years ago, he abandoned a supporter for political gain. That memory haunted him.

Aide Park Min-soo approached and whispered.
“Congressman, Choi Young-cheol’s side is trying to explode a fake scandal. We are digging into your past.”
Kang Taemin answered with a heavy expression.
“Minsu, I must take responsibility for my past mistakes. But I will not hide them from the public.”
He went back to the stage and grabbed the microphone.
“Everyone, I am not a perfect human being. I have made mistakes in the past and have hurt people. But I promise you, I will give everything for this country and for you!”
The crowd responded to his sincerity with louder cheers. Park Min-su said with a smile.
“Senator, this is real leadership.”

That night, Kang Tae-min called Lee Jae-hoon.
“Jaehoon, thanks to you, I’m here. But Choi Youngcheol hasn’t given up yet. Be careful.”
Jaehoon Lee answered firmly.
“Brother, I am also determined. I will definitely end this trial with justice.”

Jongno, Seo Ji-hyun’s media office. Seo Ji-hyun prepared the final article to expose Choi Young-cheol's plan to sell the country using Han Do-jun's USB. But then she received a threatening phone call from her family. Choi Young-cheol's men were threatening her parents. Seo Ji-hyun spoke with her mother on the phone.
“Jihyun, please stop. How will we survive if you get hurt?”
Seo Ji-hyeon's heart broke at the sound of her mother's sobbing voice.
“Mom, I’m sorry, but this…someone has to do it.”
“Jihyun, what is more important than your life?”
Seo Ji-hyun answered while holding back tears.
“Mom, the future of this country. Please trust me.”
She hung up the phone and spoke to Minji.
“Minji, send this article out tomorrow morning. Even if I’m not there… make sure to make it public.”
Minji asked with a surprised face.
“Reporter Seo, what do you mean? We’re fighting together!”
Seo Ji-hyun smiled bitterly.
“Minji, I may have to fight this fight alone. But you keep fighting.”

That night, Seo Ji-hyun was attacked again by Choi Young-cheol's subordinates as she left the office. Three men surrounded her in an alley.
“Seo Ji-hyun, it’s over now. Give me that USB!”
Seo Ji-hyun gritted her teeth and shouted.
“Even if you kill me, the truth lives on! The world already knows!”
She took the USB from her bag and threw it on the ground. The moment a man was about to pick up the USB, a police car rushed into the alley. Han Do-jun and Yoon So-young jumped out of the car.
“Reporter Seo! Are you okay?”
Han Do-jun shouted and overpowered the men. Seo Ji-hyun answered out of breath.
“Prosecutor Han… Thank you. This USB… I have to reveal it to the world.”
Han Han-jun nodded resolutely.
“Reporter Seo, we will finish this together.”

After that, Seo Ji-hyeon received a call from Buddhist monk Myodeok.
“Reporter Seo, you’ve endured well. Now Choi Young-cheol’s time is coming to an end.”
Seo Ji-hyun gritted her teeth and asked.
“Why did you break up with Choi Young-cheol? You were his comrade in 1987!”
Master Myodeok answered lowly.
“Choi Young-cheol betrayed our dreams. I tried to stop him, but alone wasn’t enough. That’s why I chose you.”
Seo Ji-hyun spoke firmly.
“Mage Myodeok, I will complete your atonement. But one day, your identity will be revealed.”

Han Do-jun, along with Yoon So-young and Seo Ji-hyun, handed over Choi Young-cheol's contract to the media. He gritted his teeth and muttered.
“Choi Young-cheol, your conspiracy ends here.”

Kang Tae-min made his decision at a national rally.
“If we work together with the people, we can stop any conspiracy. The future of this country is in our hands.”

Seo Ji-hyun muttered as she submitted the article with bloody hands.
“Mage Myodeok… This revelation will revive your dreams.”

The Republic of Korea was moving toward a new future amidst its last resistance. Those who pursue the truth now prepare for the final battle
